Amber Adams is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and the Owner of Brighter Day Counseling Services. She provides compassionate, evidence-based counseling for children, adolescents, and adults throughout Amarillo, Pampa, and the Texas Panhandle.

Amber specializes in helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, OCD, grief, and life transitions. She is passionate about creating a supportive, non-judgmental environment where clients feel safe to explore challenges, build resilience, and develop meaningful coping skills.

Her therapeutic approach is rooted in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD, trauma-informed care, and mindfulness-based interventions. Amber believes therapy should be collaborative, empowering, and tailored to each client's unique needs and goals.

A significant focus of Amber's work is women's mental health. She enjoys supporting women through pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, infertility challenges, pregnancy loss, perimenopause, menopause, burnout, and major life transitions. She also works with children and adolescents experiencing anxiety, emotional regulation difficulties, behavioral concerns, and the effects of stress and trauma.

As the founder of Brighter Day Counseling Services, Amber is committed to providing accessible, high-quality mental health care to individuals and families across the Texas Panhandle. Her goal is to help clients gain greater self-understanding, confidence, and emotional wellness while creating lasting positive change.

Her approach focuses on helping children, teens, and young adults better understand their emotions, build confidence, strengthen coping skills, and develop practical tools they can use in everyday life. Jynna strives to make therapy a safe and encouraging space where clients can learn, grow, and thrive.

In addition to working with youth, Jynna enjoys supporting parents and caregivers through parenting education, communication strategies, and guidance for managing behavioral concerns and family stressors. Brighter Day Counseling Services is proud to support the next generation of mental health professionals through our counseling internship program. Counseling interns provide compassionate, evidence-based counseling services while receiving ongoing supervision and guidance from experienced licensed clinicians.

Our interns are graduate-level counseling students who have completed significant coursework and clinical training as part of their professional education. Interns work closely with licensed supervisors to ensure clients receive quality care in a supportive and professional environment.

Counseling with an intern can be an excellent option for individuals seeking affordable mental health services while still receiving compassionate, effective care.
